These are just some of the latest finding of the UK Business Digital Index 2016 report by Lloyds Bank. If you don't want to read the full report Tech Trust have helpfully summarised their findings or if you're really lazy here's six findings I've picked out.  

53% of charities accept online donations. This has more than doubled since 2015 (24%).
60% are now advertising online vs. 30% a year ago
52% state cost savings is one of the advantages to being online, a significant increase from 33% in 2015
The largest barrier to charities doing more online is a lack of understanding of the benefits
Relatively high staff turnover of staff and volunteers means it is difficult to retain digital skills.
charities are focused on three things:
 Delivering services
 Raising funds
 Gaining active engagement of volunteers
